The parable of the marriage feast sets a paradigm for charity. God makes love available to all, yet the only obstacle is the abstinence of the recipient. No one can make another put on Christ.

The weeding garment is necessary for entrance to the weeding feast. So, too, charity is for entrance to the kingdom of God.

Gracious God, may I imitate your love today. As I experience the beauty of being your beloved, may I spread the Good News by loving others in return.
