Since 1994, Guest House for Women Religious has been proudly serving the health and wellness needs of women religious. Our dedicated team of therapists, medical professionals, and spiritual support personnel are uniquely qualified and experienced in addressing the challenges of addiction, behavioural health, and other compulsive disorders that are faced by women religious.

Guest House for Women Religious is residential treatment center in Lake Orion, Michigan. We offer a holistic approach to treatment and care that is based on the spirituality of the 12-Step Recovery model. Our trauma-informed approach empowers our clients to mindfully address substance use disorders, cluttering and hoarding, overspending, compulsive overeating, and other behavioral health challenges.
Individualized treatment –An individualized, intensive, interdisciplinary, interpersonally-focused treatment program; client progress and medical needs monitored by on-site, full-time medical director with 24/7 on-site nursing care.
Holistic treatment – Holistic program based on the spirituality of 12-Step recovery, offering a sequential approach and a balance between taking/accepting responsibility for actions and listening/accepting guidance, including individual and group therapy with full-time therapy staff.
Guest House treats women religious who are suffering from any substance use disorder, process addiction or compulsive overeating or who is experiencing difficulties related to substance use or is at risk of relapsing.
The women’s program serves sisters from across the United States as well as around the world.
