In gentle, quiet time with God, I discover so much consolation and help to embrace this present moment calmly. I then become more aware of focusing on God’s LOVE for me in each moment of life. I can let go of negative thinking and negative words and conversations. Life truly becomes a journey into God and a journey into blissful gratitude. I see my whole life, past, present, and future, filled with GOD’S LOVING PRESENCE. MY SOUL SHALL BE FILLED AS WITH A BANQUET. IN GOD IS MY SOUL AT REST.

God loves everyone. Misery is a choice of how to embrace this precious, present moment. When I embrace this moment with gratitude, my whole self opens up to God’s marvelous LOVE. I experience God. My Faith gets more profound, and God becomes wonderfully real, compassionately present, and uplifting because, in this moment, well embraced, I turn toward God and not away from God. I let God take over.

I think of the goodness, prayerfulness, and kindness of many holy women and men who are canonized Saints. They all had similar qualities: a deep, consistent prayer life and kindness toward everyone. It is what life here on earth is meant to be for me—prayerful, kind, and good in each minute of this day. I do not have to rush. I can slow down, be still, and be loving. O GOD, YOU ARE MY GOD. FOR  YOU, I LONG. I will be still and know that you are my God.
