Annual Mens Reunion:

The Unexpected Blessings

Each day of our pilgrimage in recovery we are presented with blessings beyond our wildest dreams. We go to new places and new spaces in our recovery. A pilgrimage implies we are always in process. Our life, as men of faith and prayer is truly a series of pilgrimages in our ministry and recovery. We are blessed with the fellowship and spiritual tools that support us to welcome those challenges and find the blessings in those moments.

Retreat Leader

Brother Wayne Fitzpatrick, a Maryknoll Missioner, holds an M.A. in Theology from the Maryknoll School of Theology and an M.S. in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland. Additionally, he earned a Certificate in Geriatric Care Management from Misericordia University in Dallas, PA.

At the 1990 General Chapter, he was elected to the General Council and re-elected in 1996, serving as Assistant General for 12 years. During his tenure, he extensively traveled the Maryknoll missions across Asia/Pacific, Africa, Latin America, and the United States.

Wayne is a Certified Retirement Planning Specialist for Religious and is certified to administer the Retirement Success Profile for Religious and Clergy. He has conducted numerous retreats and workshops for sisters, brothers, and priests on topics such as the “Spirituality of Aging” and “Encountering God in Times of Change and Transition.” He is deeply involved with the Matt Talbot Retreat Movement, leading several retreats annually.

Formerly, Wayne served as Managing Director of Senior Care and Transition Services for the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. Presently, he holds the positions of Director of Pastoral and Spiritual Life, House Superior at the Maryknoll Society Center in New York, and Assistant Regional Superior for the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers in the U.S. Region.
