Mark 9:41-50
It is better for you to enter into life with one hand,
than with two hands to go into Gehenna.
In our Gospel reading today, we find out that it is better to enter our world with one hand than to enter Gehenna with two hands. Jesus gives us a hard lesson today, one that is hard to understand and comprehend. Jesus calls us to think and try to understand this reading.
Lord God, help us understand Your words with the wisdom that You alone can give us. We praise You and thank You for all the good gifts You give to us in our lives. We praise You for Your love. Help us to walk with You and give us the faith and trust that we need in our lives.
