A prophet is not without honor except in his native place.
Our readings discuss being coworkers with God and bringing God’s mission to all people. We should bring God’s love, peace, and grace into our world. This message is not for a few but for everyone. The mission is not an easy one but a difficult one, but we can do this if we work together.
Creator God, help us continue Your mission so we can build up Your Kingdom here on earth. Give us the gift of faith that we will need to spread Your work in deed and action. Help us remain strong for You as we journey with You.
