Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.
The angel appeared to Mary to announce her as the Mother of Jesus. Mary was taken aback by this greeting and pondered what it would mean for her. She was not married or even had relations with another man. How did this happen to her, a virgin?Â
Loving God, we thank you for Mary’s yes to be the Mother of your child. Give us the wisdom and guidance that we need in our lives as we follow you as Mary freely did.
