Luke 6:27-28
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
In our readings today, we are reminded of how we should be merciful and compassionate to one another. Our loving God is merciful and loving. How kind are we to our brothers and sisters? God is kind and gracious to us. He wants the best for all of His children.
Lord God, we came to You on this day that You have given us to praise You and thank You for the mercy that You give to us each day. Help us to see Your light and compassion for us. Lead and guide us in our lives so we can bring Your light to the world.
