Luke 5:1-11
They left everything and followed Jesus.
The disciples’ call to follow Jesus and leave everything behind was not easy. Leaving everything behind and following Jesus is not easy for any one of us. Yet the disciples did that. They dropped everything to follow Jesus. They did not know what they were getting into. They just did it with faith.Â
Lord our God, help us to follow You when You call us to do things beyond our comfort level. Give us the willingness to do the things You call us to do. Help us to live out our faith without asking lots of questions. Let us be Your disciples who trust in Your unconditional love for us.
