Luke 2:41-52
The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph
His parents found Jesus sitting in the midst of the teachers.
Can you imagine losing your child for three days and finding him in the temple listening and asking questions? All who heard him would be astounded by his understanding and answers. He is only a child but is destined to do wonderful things as he grows in God’s wisdom.
God, thank you for the gift of the Holy Family. Help us to be like them as we interact with our own families. Give us the wisdom and understanding to be like the Holy Family. Give us the grace and blessings that we need to protect the people in our care.
