The retreat will consist of tasty, healthy meals, presentations, daily Mass, 12-Step meetings, small group discussions and free time. All retreatants will have a private room with a private bathroom.

Father Richard P. Lewandowski will moderate this year’s retreat sponsored jointly by Guest House and the Archdiocese of Boston.
Fr. Rich attended St. Mary’s College and SS Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Orchard Lake, Michigan, The University of Detroit, and Assumption College, Worcester, Massachusetts, having received degrees in Philosophy, Theology. Social Ethics and Counselling Psychology. He was ordained for the Diocese of Worcester, MA on May 25, 1974 and has served as an associate pastor, and pastor at a number of parishes throughout the Diocese. He has also served as campus minister at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester and Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg.
In addition to his parish and campus ministry duties, he served as chaplain to the Fitchburg Police and Fire Departments. He was a licensed mental health counsellor, focusing on people in recovery, including first responders. He is the author of children’s books and served on a number of diocesan and national committees, educational and civic committees.
Since his retirement in 2005, Father assists pastors in weekend Mass coverage, parish days of recollection and retreats. He is also active in providing various retreats, and most especially recovery retreats. He continues to counsel first responders and to encourage people in recovery.
