Genuine Joy and Peace in this life can only come from God. But God is experienced in this present moment. God is not condemning but only loving. But if I rush away from God, I am missing true joy and not turning toward God, the Source of all joy, love and peace. The word sacrifice comes from two Latin words, sacra(holy) and facere (to make). When I embrace pain and struggles, I am “making holy”. All of life is meant to be “making holy”. Prayer and Love is about letting God make me holy. My soul is always thirsting for God.
