St Paul begins most of his epistles by calling the ones to whom he is writing “holy ones.” For example, he begins his letter to the Philippians by saying, “Paul and Timothy, slaves of Christ Jesus, to all the holy ones who are in Philippi: grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” If he were writing to us today, he’d undoubtedly use the very same words — to us!! Why? Like them, we’ve been baptized into Christ, the all-holy Son of God, so God’s holiness dwells in us!
