Gerard Manley Hopkins, the great English Jesuit poet, was probably the first person  to make “Easter” a verb.  In his first poem he wrote: “Let him easter in us, be a   dayspring to the dimness of us.”  Easter isn’t simply a noun, an event that happened   2000 years ago. It’s an action that in Christ is meant to happen every day in each of  us – if we let it happen.  Where do I need to let him easter in me??
