(Wed of Holy Week). Today is called “Spy Wednesday” because we think of Judas, “one of the twelve,” telling the chief priests he’ll betray Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. After three years of experiencing Jesus’ love and compassion, what happened to him? Was he disillusioned? Did he prefer power and strength over compassion and love? Jesus has walked with me and blessed me for more than three years! What males me willing to betray him for a moment of pleasure or satisfaction?
