Those who lose their lives for My sake and
that of the Gospel, will save them.
Today, we hear about taking up the cross and what it means. What did His disciples think when He started to let people know that they had to take up the cross? Taking up the cross is not an easy task for anyone. Yet some are called to take up the cross, and other people’s crosses may not be that difficult. He calls us to be strong people of faith.
God our Father, help us to take up our cross in our lives. Let it be done according to Your own cross. Let us be prepared to carry that cross no matter how difficult it may be. Help us to see You in those difficult times when the road gets tough and help us know that You will be with us on that journey.
