Psychiatrist

We are seeking candidates with an interest in working in a residential treatment facility with clients experiencing substance use and mental health disorders, behavioral addictions, and trauma.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Guest House is seeking a Michigan licensed Psychiatrist to work remotely for 8–10 hours per week on either a part-time employee, or Independent Contractor basis. We are seeking candidates knowledgeable of the Catholic faith and 12-step facilitated treatment. We are also seeking candidates with an interest in working with clients experiencing substance use, mental health disorders, behavioral addictions, and trauma.

Services required may include the following:

• Supervise psychiatry provided to clients while in the program
• Conduct psychiatric assessments
• Provide Guest House with findings of examinations, treatment provided, orders, recommendations for follow-up care, and client progress
• Abide by federal, state, CARF and Guest House policies and regulations regarding client confidentiality

Guest House treats Catholic Clergy, Men and Women Religious, and Seminarians from across the country and worldwide. We provide treatment seven days a week consisting of holistic treatment services, individual and group therapy, didactic presentations, recovery skill-building, nutritional counseling; as well as social, recreational, and spiritual activities. Our program provides significant lengths of stay, concierge medical services, and the opportunity for creative treatment planning to establish and support long-term recovery.
