POSITION SUMMARY:

The part-time Project Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Mission Advancement team, focusing on project management of appeals and newsletters, creation of special acknowledgement letters for donors, and other related tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent writing skills.

 

This is a part-time position with variable hours. The ideal candidate will be available to work up to 20 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage multiple appeals and one annual newsletter from conception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  2. Coordinate with design and print vendors to create visual elements for appeals and newsletter.
  3. Write engaging copy for appeals and newsletter content, working closely with the Director of Mission Advancement and other team members.
  4. Design and create special acknowledgement letters for donors, including personalized thank-you notes and recognition materials.
  5. Maintain accurate records and databases of donor information, appeals, and newsletters.
  6. Collaborate with the development team to track responses, donations, and outcomes from appeals and newsletters.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to fundraising and donor relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising, marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
