It becomes such an uplifting and consoling thought and feeling to believe in a heaven where I will be happy and joyful forever. Then, when I realize the Goodness and Love of God, which is always coming toward me, my whole emotional, spiritual, and physical system slows down into an experience of gratitude and quiet joy. Life is not short at all. It is just that my journey on this earth is brief. Heaven is forever. There is so much goodness all around, which leads me to God and a profound realization of the joy of God and the joy of heaven, which is God’s abundant gift to me. INTO YOUR HANDS, O LORD, I COMMEND MY SPIRIT. MY GOD AND MY ALL.
