Guest House, the world’s first and best choice for long-term residential treatment of Catholic clergy, women & men religious, and seminarians who are suffering from alcoholism, addictions, and other behavioral health conditions, is pleased to announce that we will be presenting a webinar to the membership of the Association of US Catholic Priests (auscp.org) entitled, “How to Help Families Facing Addiction.” In partnership with Jeff Jay, noted counselor, clinical interventionist, and co-author of the best-selling book, “Love First: a family’s guide to intervention,” (with Debra Jay, published by Hazelden), we will explore resources that are available to clergy which may be the most helpful to families in crisis due to addiction.

Consistent with the four pillars of the Guest House mission statement regarding the offering of information, education, treatment and care – we are grateful to AUSCP for enabling us to share our subject matter expertise on matters of addiction and other behavioral health conditions in support of the ministry of AUSCP’s membership across the country. Our webinar event will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 2pm Eastern Time.

If your diocese, religious community, or seminary is seeking subject matter expertise to share with your community’s membership in support of clergy/religious formation and continuing education – contact Deacon Chris Stark, Director of Mission Advancement – CoE at Guest House to discuss how we may be able to help you. cstark@guesthouse.org
