Welcome, Guest House Alumni!

The Guest House alumni are a unique group of men and women who share a special bond.  Our alumni—priests, sisters, religious brothers, and seminarians—developed healthy and supportive relationships during their stay at Guest House.  Deep bonds of friendship were forged during a time of personal crisis, mutually shared life-changing therapy, and spiritual growth.  These relationships have continued to nurture and encourage them in sobriety to the present day. 

Through the Guest House Alumni Association, alumni and alumnae have been able to come together regularly for regional seminars, retreats, and alumni reunions.  Through the years, dedicated Guest House alumni have provided critical support to other new clients, as they transition back to their ministries after completing residential treatment at Guest House.  Some have remained lifelong friends; others have served as AA sponsors.  Still others have accepted an invitation from their religious superiors to serve as ministers to other clergy and religious in unhealthy situations, such as addictions or other health problems. 

In many ways, the ongoing prayer support and emotional support of Guest House alumni and benefactors has been a dynamic component of the ongoing recovery process.
